About your aerial beach wall art
This set of free printable beach wall art includes two prints, both 8×10″. The aerial shots are designed to be placed side by side and bring an abstract feel to the beachy vibe. The cool calming blues and greens mixed with the earthy shore create a beautiful contrast. The whitewash gives the feeling of organic movement, which I just love.
Framing your new coastal wall art
My favourite type of frame with these prints would be light timber. Light timbers are great in coastal rooms. You could use a whitewashed frame, a light natural timber frame or something in a distressed style. But a black frame is always a classic option that goes well with most artwork. And if you're switching out prints as I do, l usually just stick to black most of the time.
I find using a frame with a mat board tends to come down to personal preference. Other times it comes down to the picture that you're framing. I like frames without the mat for this set of wall art. However you may want to make the wall art bigger, perhaps you need to balance the scale of other elements in the room? Using matted frames is a great way to achieve that.
Quick tips for beach style

Aside from blues and greens, use neutral colours like whites, creams, and beiges as your base to create a light, airy feel. I always love to throw unexpected colours into my palette. As you can see, the colour of the sand is an expected twist that you could incorporate in a small amount.
Include natural materials in your decor, furniture and furnishings. Use fabrics such as cotton, linen, sheers, canvas and of course, natural fibres. Patterns of stripes, nautical, seashells and corals are a great fit for the beach style.
Don't forget to enhance your coastal theme with decor. This could include seashells, driftwood, seashell collections, glass jars filled with sand and seashells, or even a few potted plants to bring a touch of nature indoors.
