What is coastal boho style? Well as the name suggests it is a combination of beachy and bohemian styles. But you will also find Scandinavian elements to it. Use coastal boho style to bring the outdoors inside.
What's the best way to work out which decor and furniture pieces will work well together in a room? Why with a mood board of course. I love mood boards as it can get overwhelming trying to find the correct pieces to suit the aesthetic that you're going for.
Bonus! I've included links to where you can get these products from, so this is also a shopping guide for your coastal boho styling!

How to Get the Coastal Boho Look
The colour palette for this laid back style is muted and neutral. Typically set on a white backdrop, the classic colours that you tend to see are soft greens or blues. I love the look of varied shades of blue. Personally, I am the sort of person who can't help but add more colour (or pink to be specific!) so I'll usually throw in just a hint of that too. Why not right, we can't stick to the rules all of the time?!!
You'll also find colours coming through from natural elements such as jute, leather, rattan and raw timbers. Given that there are a lot of whites to this look, use texture to create some depth. Those natural elements are great for this. Include shells (just don't go overboard on the beach cliches) and you could add feathers or macrame for more boho.
Include timber furniture, wicker baskets or a woven floor rug. Soft flowy fabrics for curtains or as a canopy bed create a more relaxed feel. Don't forget some greenery in the form of plants. I feel like that's just a given in every room but particularly important in relaxed outdoorsy styles such as coastal boho.
