Tips for Your Free Patriotic Coloring Sheets
This download includes 5 high-quality coloring pages, all 8.5×11″. You can also print to A4 paper though!
PRINTER TIPS
Regardless of whether you’re printing to A4 or 8.5×11″, in most cases you should use the “Actual Size” printer setting or scale at 100%. This will ensure the design prints out at the intended size.
Any home printer will work perfectly for these coloring sheets. If printing to a heavier paper/card, test your printer to ensure it can handle the thicker paper. Nobody likes paper jams!
PAPER SELECTION
Whilst you really can print to any paper you have around the house, if I were to recommend anything, it would be a smooth bright white paper, at least 80lb/120gsm.
Consider what you will be using your coloring pages for. For example, if they’re going to be hung up like a banner, they may require a sturdier paper/card.
If children are going to be using markers, a thicker paper is better to avoid bleeding or holes when they color ever-so enthusiastically!
Think about what will be underneath the coloring pages too – you don’t want their coloring to go through to your nice table top. You can either put something underneath or print the pages to a thicker paper/card.
