Jungle 1st Birthday Party
I would love an invite to this party! The attention to detail is incredible. My favourite elements would have to be the balloon garlands and the table settings. Incorporating large leaves is a great (and cheap) way to add a lot of impact to this theme.

Run Away to the Circus Party
With the release of the movie, The Greatest Showman, of course, circus and carnival parties were going to make a comeback. Your imagination truly is the limit – the games and fun you can recreate with this party theme are virtually endless!

Outer Space Birthday Party
This theme can really suit older boys also but I thought this particular party was very cute for the smaller little guys. Those little green martians are definitely my favourite!

Winter Camping Party
A rustic party for your little nature boy right in the backyard. I love the inclusion of native plants and flower arrangements, the gingham pattern and that cute little teepee cake.

Dog Pawty Colorful Birthday Party
For my son's 6th Birthday, he requested something with dogs. I created these Dog Pawty printables and had lots of fun with all of the doggy puns for food and signs. You can check out the party decorations in my article A Super Colorful Dog Themed Birthday Party for Hudson.

Farm Themed Birthday
So much thought has gone into this farmyard animal themed party. Including toddler activities, tissue paper pom pom animals, cowboy hats instead of party hats and a giant DIY farmyard playmat, just to name a few.

Race Car Birthday
Is it just me or do all boys go through a car phase? I don't think it ever ends for some though! I love how easy it was to create some of the elements for this party – the backdrop made from paper plates; the traffic light props; and the simplicity of the racing stripe running down the middle of the tables.

Construction Party Ideas
Both of my boys have been (and still are) in love with anything to do with construction. We love walking or driving past construction sites and naming all of the different types of machinery. These construction party ideas will get you inspired! I also have a set of free printable Birthday construction colouring pages you could use as an activity or for party favors.

Robot Birthday Party
My Number 2 is especially into Robots. He's always coming to me in need of a reboot! Plenty of prop, decorations and robot food inspiration here!

Fireman Birthday Party
What little boy doesn't love a fire engine? I love the flames and the fiery crepe paper backdrop looks amazing (check out my DIY Streamer Backdrop tutorial on how to whip one up).

Cowboy Birthday Theme
How can you not love that gorgeous rope sign?! I love the detail to this rustic theme – cowboy boots, horseshoes, the instruments. The texture of the timber, rope and metals really brings this party together.

Little Man Mustache Bash
My eldest little man had a ‘stache bash for his 1st Birthday! Sadly no pics (it was a long time ago). But I love the Mustache Bash below – the colour palette is perfect (I even had the same balloons and patterns). You can have so much fun with this theme.

Dinosaur Roar Boy's Birthday Party
This boys Birthday party idea is so much fun. The colour palette for this wild dino party is one of my all-time favourites for boys. I never get sick of it. This party buffet was actually pretty simple but as you can see still so effective. Some of the items are currently available to purchase too.

Green Dinosaur Birthday Party Decor
Any boy would love this party setup at his Birthday. You can purchase the complete 80-piece kit that includes the balloon arch, dinosaur balloons, coconut tree, Happy Birthday sign, curtain, tassels, and more.

Monster Truck Birthday Party & Dessert Table
This green and blue monster truck themed party has some great ideas for decorating as well as food. The cake with it's climbing monster truck, mud shots and custom sweets wrappers to name a few. Each guest even received his own monster truck in a take-home bucket.

Little Monster Birthday Bash
This colourful monster party has plenty of ideas for you. From balloon monsters to large monster clip art to a bigger than life fluffy monster backdrop.

Wild One 1st Birthday Party
I'm a sucker for a play on words and this is no exception. This theme is very fitting if you have an especially wild little boy on your hands! I like the rustic charm which also gives this party that wild woodland vibe too.

Forest Woodland Animal Birthday Balloon Decor
The woodland animal party is a popular choice for Birthdays for boys. My eldest son's second Birthday was a woodland theme and so too was his nursery! Add some fun to your party with this forest animals party decor balloon kit. The set includes a rose gold Happy Birthday banner, foil leaf and forest animal balloons, round latex balloons, ribbon, and more.

Pirates Party Theme
This pirate-themed boys Birthday party idea has just the right amount of cuteness to make it great for younger boys. I love the props and the treasure boxes full of treats!

How to Throw a Vintage Train Birthday Party
Just can't bring yourself to throw a hyped up Thomas the Tank Engine party? This refined vintage train Birthday party theme was just the trick for a little sophistication.

Thomas the Tank Engine
This party's organiser wanted to recreate the opening scene of the Thomas the Tank television series. I think they did a wonderful job tieing it all in together with the props.

Superhero Birthday
My kids can never settle on one superhero. I love a combined superhero party – this party has incorporated the likes of Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk. It also uses some of the fun comic aspects of superheroes.

Superhero Birthday Party Balloon Decor
This fun superhero Birthday decor will amaze all of your guests. In colors of blue, red, and white this balloon kit includes 112 pieces. You get a Happy Birthday banner, superhero balloons, foil stars, shields, and rockets. Plus curtains, red and blue latex balloons, and more.

Lego Boy's Birthday Party
Older toddlers are just starting to go from Duplo to Lego. So many ideas and games can come from a Lego party. My favourite thing is the colourful palette!

Toy Story Party
Can you believe it was 24 years ago when Toy Story first came out? And in 2019 they've released the fourth instalment. All of the kids are wanting a Toy Story party, yet again! This party has some handy hacks so you're not spending a heap on all of the Toy Story merch without being able to use it again.

Octonauts Boy's Birthday Party
My 3 year old absolutely loves Octonauts so I couldn't go past without including it in this round-up. I love the bunting and using toys and cutouts to help bring the theme to life.

Ocean Under the Sea Birthday Party Decor
If your kiddo loves ocean animals and anything under the sea then this balloon decor kit is for you! The 85-piece kit includes a balloon arch, marine animal balloons, a coconut tree, a Happy Birthday banner, curtains, tassels, and more.

Paw Patrol Birthday Party
How cute are the pup treats in the dog bowls? What I like about this licensed party is that it's not full of in-your-face licensed merchandise.

Super Mario Party
Okay so now this is the 24th most Awesome Boys Birthday Party Ideas for Toddlers. Since originally writing this article my son had a Mario-themed party. It was for his 7th Birthday however plenty of younger boys like Mario and Luigi (particularly if they're growing up around parents and siblings who love it!). Be sure to check out the full article on the Super Awesome Super Mario party that I threw for my son.
I hope you found some helpful boys Birthday party ideas. It was so much fun coming up with a bunch of inspiration for your little man's Birthday party. Tell me below which themes are your faves and which you would like to see more of!

Hello! What are the centerpieces made out of for your superhero party? I am doing a combined superhero party for my son’s 6th birthday next month and I need centerpieces. I love the buildings that you have on the table.
Hi Rylan, I love this party too! This is a round-up post and I didn’t create this party myself. But you can find a link to the original superhero post from Sarom Inspired just below the image – I would contact them to ask for specifics. Good luck with the party 🙂
