Celebrate V Day this year with perfectly romantic Valentines Day decorations. I have a mix of Valentines Day decorations you can craft. Or some of my favourite decorations to purchase (many of which you could also have a go at making!).
I used to be a cynic when it came to Valentines Day. It just seemed to be “the cool thing” to hate love. Seriously though… WTF, that doesn't even make sense?! But these days, I'm totally not about being cool. I'm about doing and believing in what is in my heart. So naturally, I love Valentines Day (I always have, even when I denied it).
It doesn't matter what your Day of Love looks like, perhaps you have a loved one to share it with or are hoping to catch the attention of someone? Maybe it's more of a Galentine's Day with your girlfriends? For me, I'll be teaching my kids the importance of spoiling those you love. They are, after all, the two ultimate loves of my life. One day my boys will find their own loves. Of course, they will be thanking me for making sure my boys grew up knowing how to show that love. At least that's what's in my head, I'm certain it will go that way?!

Right. Now I have a date with a 4 and a 7 year old to plan! I really do enjoy hanging out with my kids on Valentines Day. For the last few years I've had a lot of house renovations and general life disruptions. I'm hoping to go all out with celebrations like Valentines Day. I really look forward to making a fuss (even if it's just themed Valentines Day decorations at home) and making my loves smile.
