This sweet Thanksgiving table decor idea is so easy, free and perfect at the last minute. It's going to blow you away!
That's not to say you need to use it at the last minute but as long as you have access to a printer, it can be a huge time-saver. Yes, I'm talking about my favourite thing of all time (after sleep, air conditioning, internet)… printables. Free printables. I can understand that at first thought, paper table decor doesn't really seem that amazing. However some of these items you may already use when decorating party and dinner tables. Today we're just going to take it up a level or two!
There are plenty of free printables all over the internet aren't there? Well, how many of these free printables allow you to edit the file and customise it with your own details? Part of these easy Thanksgiving table printables are in fact editable, making your professionally designed decor more personal.

Farmhouse Thanksgiving table decor idea overview
I love farmhouse-style vibes. I think they evoke such a homely feel and are even more appropriate around Fall and Thanksgiving. These designs feature a pretty watercolour palette in soft oranges/corals and greens. Fall leaves and berries are mixed with pretty pumpkins and wooden crates.
PRINTABLE PLACE CARDS
One of the best features of these place cards is that you can customise them with your guests' names. Simply download the PDF, edit the blue fields then print to your home computer. So simple!
Not only can you use these as place cards for your guests but they do well as food tents for labelling food and drink options. You could also use them as Thanksgiving favour bag toppers. Write your own message such as “Grateful” or “With Thanks” etc. Then staple them to a bag of treats to hand out to your guests, school friends or neighbours.
I recommend printing to a smooth card, somewhere around 200gsm or a little heavier. Such as this A4 cardstock or 8.5×11″ 80lb cardstock. Whilst most home printers are capable of printing heavier cards, you may need to check that it's not too heavy for your printer feeder to handle.
PRINTABLE GIFT TAGS
Gift tags are a great Thanksgiving table decor idea to use with your Fall decorating. These gift tags are also customisable. The ‘Thankful For' text is set however you can update the script text to say what you would like. Once you have downloaded your PDF, edit the fields and then print.
I came up with some other ideas that you could use these sweet farmhouse Thanksgiving tags for:
- Favor gift tags
- Tags on baked goods
- Thanksgiving mason jar gifts
- Place settings (if you don't want to use the other options in this set)
- Bookmark gift
Again, I recommend printing these on a smooth paper or card. There's no need to print them to anything too heavy. However, I'm a fan of using whatever you have so certainly go ahead with a heavier card if you like. It certainly depends on what you'll be using these tags for too. I used a nice smooth paper of 165gsm that printed these out well.
PRINTABLE NAPKIN WAPPERS
The printable napkin wrappers come in two ‘as-is' designs (the text is not editable on these printables). The pretty Fall wreaths include a ‘Grateful' script and also a ‘Blessed' script design. Simply print and then you can wrap them around your cutlery and/or napkins.
Some other ideas you could use these Thanksgiving napkin wraps for include:
- Trim them into a small greeting card
- Use as flat card decor on your place settings
- Gift wrap small Thanksgiving gifts
- Wrap greeting card envelopes with them
- Wrap around candles (just don't burn the candles whilst they're wrapped in paper!)
